My family was going to Baltimore! We just came back from Saturday school so we had to hurry. My mom told us we were going to Baltimore because tickets to get into the National Aquarium were one dollar. So we got in the car. The drive to Baltimore took so long that I fell asleep. When we got to Baltimore I was fascinated by all the tall buildings. We tried to park outside but the parking lots were all full. So we had to go into an inside parking lot. The inside parking lot cost us ten dollars. It took us for a long time to find a spot in the parking lot. Most of the parking lots were full or reserved. I got of the car and found out that the streets and roads were dirtier than the roads where I live.
We rushed to National Aquarium but a staff told us the they weren't selling any more tickets so we walked away from the National Aquarium. I found out that the water was polluted and you could fall in the water because it didn't have a fence around it. We saw a large boat and a shark submarine. We took some pictures with my camera around the boat. We didn't want to go inside the ships because it would cost money. We also saw some people renting paddle boats. I wanted to go on one but my dad said that he didn't have the strength to peddle the boat.We kept on walking and saw large boat that looked like a pirate ship. It had cannons and a bunch of ropes supporting the flags.
We got tired of looking at boats so we decided to go home. But guess what! We weren't going home! We were going eat at this sushi buffet but my sister really wanted to eat McDonald's. We kept on arguing on where to eat. eventually we went to the buffet. First we went in the mall that was near the buffet. We got to the end of the mall and saw the buffet. My family went inside ate a lot of food . There was sushi, ribs, rice and much more food. After I finish my food at any buffet I start groaning because I eat too much. Finally we went home.

Beyblade
A bey blade is a high performance top. Their are 4 types of types, attack, defense, stamina, and balance. One thing is that they all spin different.And their are some good bey blades like Burn Fire blaze, Rock Aries, Storm Capricorn, Earth Eagle, Rock Leone and Earth Virgo. Their are 5 parts of a bey blade. Face bolt, Energy ring, Fusion wheel, Spin track and Performance tip. 4parts of the bey blade is plastic, the Fusion wheel is the only metal. You can switch parts with a different bey blade. All performance tips are different.[ sharp, round and flat] You can buy a bey blade at Walmart, Target and Toys"R"us. I hope you like bey blades!

Did you ever wonder what bullying looks like? Bullying is when someone does mean things to another person. The article "What is Bullying" says that bullying with electronics is called cyber bullying. People can send mean and rude messages with email, phones and Facebook. The article "Goodbye Bullies" says that bullying can be physical and verbal. They can hit and kick you or say mean things to you. The article "Don't Bully me" says that bullies can make you feel lonely by taking you or your friends away. Never be a bully.

My First Time on Ice
I was at Rockville Ice Arena. First a large Zamboni ( a Zamboni is a large machine that puts ice on the rink. When I stepped on the ice, Whoa! It was real slippery! I figured that some of the water that came from the ice wasn't completely dry. I almost fell but I held on to the wall just before I fell. I held the wall for a long time so I could get used to skate. After a while I fell. To get back up you have to put one leg up. Then you put all your body weight on that leg and stand up. Now I could go to the middle of the rink and come back to the wall. I fell a lot of times so don't feel bad if you keep on falling. I learned that you skate by putting all your weight on one leg and push with the other. After that you glide and wait until your skates start slowing down. After I got a hang of it, I started skating in a circle like most of the people in the rink did. I saw some of my sister's friends with their parents. Their parents started to help me on the ice because I wasn't really good at it. They told me first to walk. After that they told me that I should walk faster and glide. I did what they told me to do and I was pretty fast. Then the Zamboni had to put more ice on the rink again because the ice was melting away. When I got on the ice again it was slippery but I didn't fall down. I helped my sister when she fell down to get back up by holding my hand so she can reach it and hold it then she can stand. If you are going to crash into someone or something you can ether turn or use your brakes. If you want to use your brakes, you make sure your feet are not close to each other and put the front of your skate's blade next to the other so your feet will look like a "V''. If you choose to turn you turn your body around and change the direction of your skates. Also I did two tricks on the ice. One of them included a cone. you skate and glide over a cone. In the other one you might fall. You bend your knees and jump. I did those tricks for a long time and practice was over so I went home. That was a great experience I will never forget!

Lego
What are Legos? Legos are blocks that come in all different shapes and sizes. They can be used for: decorations, sculptures and toys. Every December the Lego company gives you a sneak peek at the new Legos that are coming next year. Some Legos can be big for younger kids and the smaller ones are for kids older than six. My favorite Lego sets are Lego Ninjago, Lego City and Lego Star Wars.
Some Lego people are called minifigures. Some Lego people can be aliens and droids while others can be ordinary everyday people. In Lego Ninjago The most common minifigures are ninjas,skeletons and snakes. There are five ninjas. The fire ninja,the lighting ninja, the earth ninja,the ice ninja and the green ninja. The green ninja becomes the gold ninja who is the master of Spinjitsu. Spinjitsu is when a person starts to spin and becomes a tornado sooner or later.The ninjas fight the snakes and the skeletons because they want to take over the whole world and destroy it. The gold ninja defeats his father (the evil warlord) when the world is about to get crushed.

There are a group of elite police who are really good police but they go after a group of clever criminals so it is very hard to catch them. The coast guard save people from sharks who try to eat them. There is this coast guard set I have that has a big boat, a tower and a small raft. The coast guard find a surfer that is chased by a shark so the save the surfer and they had to abandon their raft. The firefighters put out fire and rescue other people when they need help. Also there are sets like cargo and a train station. In cargo sets there are vehicles that can transfer packages that are large and heavy.

That is called a sandwich board minifigure. Also there are a lot of helmets for the clone troopers for protections. Most of the guns are used by the the clones so they can help the Rebels or the Sith. Yoda is one of the most important Jedi. He is the wisest and trained many other Jedi. Some people have different Lightsaber hilts. One Sith has a curved hilt. Another one has very sharp hilts.

Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 2012
Did you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade? Well if you didn't, let me tell you a little bit about it. The Macy's Parade was held in New York. They held the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade because a long time ago, many of Macy's workers were immigrants and they missed their culture's holidays so Macy's decided to have a parade every Thanksgiving morning to honor Thanksgiving. In Macy's Thanksgiving parade, There were balloons, bands and floats. But before all that, people were singing songs from movies like Elf and Cinderella.
Most of the balloons were characters from children's TV shows. Some of the balloons I liked are Spiderman, Pikachu and the Pokeball and Sonic. Some of the balloons were huge while others were smaller. I also remember there was the mascot of a baking ingredients company. He was a white person with blue eyes and a white chef hat. There was also balloons for girls like Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty was in a yellow airplane flying. The hosts said Hello Kitty's bow was very famous. Under each balloon a lot of people wearing shirts that went along with the balloon were holding the balloon.
In front of each balloon was a band. My favorite band was a band with cool helmets on. There was also a band that had the Marines in it. The Marines were pointing guns at each other but they didn't shoot. I wouldn't like that band because I would be freaked out if somebody holding a gun was behind me. In the bands the people were playing flutes, clarinets, trumpets and much more. A lot of the bands were from high schools. They always were moving their legs so I guessed it was a marching band. Most of the time I wasn't really paying attention to the bands because all their music sounded the same.
At some point before the end of the parade some floats came into action. One float was about Domino Sugar. On the float kids were happy and a large machine was making GIANT cookies. Another float had Carly Ren Jepsen. She was singing one of her songs that I didn't recognize. After her float a bunch of other music bands or people were singing. Finally I recognized Kidz Bop. Kidz Bop is a company that uses kids to sing very famous songs in the appropriate version.
At the very end they said Santa would come. So I saw Santa, but I really saw a bunch of Santas in different robes. One was in green, another was in purple and others were in different colors. Finally I saw the real Santa in his red coat with a long beard. After that the parade ended. That was a really long parade!

The Tower of Doom
Ahhhh! Eeeek! I was at Six Flags and I couldn't believe that I was going on the tallest and one of the scariest rides in Six Flags! I was finally tall enough to go on the ride, but I found out it was really scary because adults and teenagers were screaming their heads off. It was my turn to go on the ride, WHAT WAS I GOING TO DO?!
As I was getting on the ride I asked my dad if the ride was going to be scarier than normal because it was closer to Halloween,and he answered yes. In my head I was freaked out because this was my first and scariest time on the ride. When we were at the top of the I could see people on wacky rides and eating delicious food. I could hear people laughing at funny plays and screaming on scary rides. I felt excited and scared at the same time.
Woosh! Ahhhhh! My dad and I were screaming like crazy because the ride was shooting down at it's top speed. I held my dad's hand so I'd feel safe.
After the ride was finished,( which was like twenty seconds) we were super dizzy. After we recovered from being dizzy, we wanted to go on the ride again, but we had to go to a different ride. What an exciting and scary ride!

Hurricane Sandy
"IT'S WORSE THAN HURRICANE IRENE!" What's worse than Hurricane Irene? Hurricane Sandy was worse than Irene! Hurricane Sandy struck the Northeast coast from 10/28/12-10/30/12.
Sandy Wrecked New York City so badly that everyone in the city had to evacuate and the city then looked like a ghost town. During the storm a crane in New York City collapsed and was very dangerous because it could break completely and collapse on a building! The metro was closed because the train was flooded and some tunnels were flooded to the ceiling. In Ocean City all the bridges were closed and a boardwalk broke. In New Jersey an island called Point Pleasant Beach was being hit by huge waves.
In my house some water was leaking through the walls and we had to sleep in the basement because if we slept in our rooms we would hear the howling wind and our rooms would be shaking. My dad didn't like to sleep in the basement so he slept in his room. The next morning was a bit better because the rain got lighter and the wind stopped. We found out that we had no internet, a bit of siding popped up and my room's window screen broke off.
Since we had no internet we couldn't watch TV and on the computer we could only play Cut the Rope (which got pretty boring).
After a few days things got back to normal. My dad fixed the house and we still went to school. I SURVIVED HURRICANE SANDY!

Mark of Athena
Do you like to read action and adventure books? Well if you do, you should read The Mark of Athena! It is narrated by four different demigods (a demigod is a kid that has a god parent and a mortal parent) . It is written by Rick Riordan, the author of The Percy Jackson Series and the author of the Kane Chronicles.
The Mark of Athena is the third book in The Heroes of Olympus series. The heroes in the book encounter deadly threats and almost die! In the series there is a prophecy that foretold seven demigods will close the doors to death, which is what evil dead souls use to get back to the world. Percy Jackson and the two other demigods almost got sunk while one walks into a secret layer of Rome where no one went for a millennial and tricks a giant spider that used to be a very good weaver. After Percy and the other two demigods beat up two giants with snakes as toes, the demigod that drives the ship went to drove those other six demigods to the secret layer of Rome that one demigod went to too get the statue of her mom back to Greece. When they were carrying the statue back to
Greece two demigods dropped of the ship and into the under world. Finally the ship hurries back to Greece to put the statue back leaving the two demigods in the under world. Find out more in the fourth book:The House of Hades!

2012 Pool Olympics
What are the 2012 Pool Olympics? The pool Olympics is a mini competition made by my pool's lifeguards so kids could have some fun at the end of the summer.
A few weeks ago, the lifeguards announced the schedule of the pool Olympics and planed the Olympics on next Sunday. But every Sunday it was planed on it rained heavily. So on the second to last opening day of the pool, which it was raining still but very lightly, the pool Olympics were held as scheduled.
I was late to the pool Olympics because my dad was taking a nap for a long time, when I urged him again and again. I played several games, such as, " Be a Chicken and Get Water", "Seahorse" and "Dive for Pretzels". When I got to the pool every one was participating " Be a Chicken and Get Water" , which was half way through.
There were two teams in that game, the big kid team and the little kid team. I was put on the little kid team because they were losing and there were only two kids on that team. You play the game by flapping your "wings" and making chicken sounds, then you get a plastic cup to scope water out of the pool and pour the water in your team's bucket. The team with most water in their bucket first wins. I was the leader of my team because I was the oldest and I was faster than my teammates. Even though we tried our hardest we still lost the game. Next we played a game called "Seahorse".
You play "Seahorse" by putting a noddle between your legs and use your hands to pretend you are riding a horse. You run into the pool, high five the lifeguard and run back. Whoever's team does that nine times faster wins. I was put on the big kids tea.m when we got new teammates. We sprinted but barely won by one lap. Finally we played "Dive for Pretzels".
In "Dive for Pretzels" you throw plastic pretzels into the water, and your teammates retrieve the pretzels. The fastest team who retrieves all pretzels first wins. You can only retrieve one pretzel at a time so it would be fair. Everybody in my team participated, expect the youngest guy who had help from a lifeguard. We were older, bigger and faster so we got the pretzels very fast and won. As for the other team he couldn't go under water so he won.
The pool Olympic were very fun and exciting. We all got chocolate and candy as a prize.What a fun day!!!

Beethoven
Who wrote the famous Für Elise? Beethoven of course! Beethoven had a musical childhood, a deaf adulthood and got a lot of achievements. Beethoven had a ton of music lessons when he was young.
Beethoven's full name was Ludwig van Beethoven. Beethoven was born on 12/16/1770 in Bonn, Germany. His dad and grandpa were musicians too so his dad gave him his first music lessons. As Beethoven started to get older and older he went to Vienna to try to meet Mozart and study with Haydn. He published his first music after eleven years old. But then his mother was about to die so he took a break from studying and went back to Bonn to see her.
After his mom died he moved to Vienna. When he was growing up he noticed it was hard to hear. Sometime when he was a adult he got completely deaf. Even since he was deaf he still continued to conduct and make more symphonies until he died. The symphonies he wrote in his adulthood were the third to the ninth (last) symphonies. His last symphony was the famous Ode to Joy. He was rude and angry most of the times, but still had a lot of close friends. Since he didn't take good care of himself, he died at the age fifty six.
More than twenty thousand people attended his funeral probably because he was a great musician and composer. Also when Beethoven died a blinding flash of lighting struck said one of Beethoven friends. Some of the achievements he achieved was writing a lot of sonatinas and be one of the three B's to change music. His greatest achievement was to raise instrumental music.
Beethoven was a very musical boy just like Mozart. He had a happy childhood, a sad adulthood and got a lot of achievements. But the most important thing is that he is remembered in history!!!

Olympic Games Closing Ceremony
Did you like the 2012 Olympic games closing ceremony? Well I did but I thought it was more of a concert because most of the time everybody was just singing. My three favorite parts of the Olympic games closing ceremony was the beginning of closing ceremony, that several of my favorite singers came and sang their songs also a hilarious performance performed by Eric Idle.
In the beginning everything was covered in newspaper ( clothes, cars and Big Ben!). Then people hanging on ropes were making music by using pans and pots to make music. There was a lot of commotion but everything was fine. Suddenly all the attention was on a yellow car because it exploded the superheros, Batman and Robin stepped out and ran away. After that people in cardboard costumes ( or I thought it looked like cardboard) sang " Eastern Boys and Western Girls".
After the cardboard people were gone, the youngest band from Britain,One Direction sang"What makes you beautiful" on the trailer of a truck. Two singers who were famous because of there songs in the USA were singing there, and one of them was my favorite singer, Taio Cruz. Also Tinie Tempah a famous Britain rapper sang "Written in the stars" with Taio Cruz singing "Dynamite" and Jessie J singing Price Tag". They all came out of cars and when Taio Cruz started to sing "Dynamite" , a lot of athletes sang along with him.
Eric Idle went into a cannon. A lot of people were waiting for him to be shot out of the cannon, instead he just rolled into a pit. When he came out of the pit he started to sing songs. After that Indians came dancing. He saw them dancing so he tried to mimic them but he couldn't do it. Suddenly the Indians started to put powder on his face so he couldn't see. But some how he pushed the Indians away and saw a guy get shot out of the cannon for real.
The Olympic games closing ceremony was very cool and unique. At the end of the closing ceremony, Brazil gave a small presentation of their country to welcome the athletes to Brazil. The presentation was ultra colorful and loud so, they would tell they athletes that Brazil is super colorful. Now I can't wait for the XXXI Olympic games in Rio!!!!!!!

My Favorite Olympic Event
What's your favorite Olympic game sport ? Well my favorite sport is gymnastics. My three favorite things you can perform in gymnastics are uneven bars, floor exercise and pommel horse.As you can see in order, my most favorite rotation in gymnastics are the uneven bars.
In uneven bars you have two bars in different heights. You have a high bar and a low bar to perform on. You swing around on those two bars and do releases, flips, turns and transitions. This event is for girls in the Olympics, but anybody can try it for exercise and fun. The girl with the most points in uneven bars was Gabby Douglas. My second favorite rotation is floor exercise.
In floor exercise you can run, jump, do flips and twists. This event is extremely dangerous event for untrained people because you can land on your head, fall while trying to perform a stunt and much more. This event is for both boys and girls in the Olympics. If you want to make a floor exercise stadium you should, find something wide and bouncy(like a wide bounce house) and make a place where people can watch. My third favorite rotation in gymnastics is the pommel horse.
In pommel horse you have a short balance beam with two handles on top.In the Olympics this event is for boys only. Pommel horse is one of the more difficult events but less dangerous. Pommel horse was made by solders because they used this to practice dismounting and mounting their horse. You hold the handles or the edges of the balance beam doing handstands ,turning your legs in a circular motion and trying to get perfect landings.
Gymnastics are hard and dangerous, a lot of people fall in the Olympics so don't be sad if you are bad at it.

The 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony
What you all have been waiting for... The Olympic Games!!!!!! In the opening ceremony my three favorite parts was the beginning of the opening ceremony, the march of the nations and the fireworks.
In the beginning men and woman were doing do their everyday work, such as raking leaves and making the grass smooth. Suddenly there was a pause because everybody was waiting for Bradley Wiggins to ring the Olympic bell so the Opening ceremony could start. Then everybody rolls the grass mats and towers rise from the stadium. Also kids were singing songs that they learned at school. After that people started to use tools to shape an iron circle. Later they put the iron circle they made with four already made circles to make the Olympic symbol. When they made the Olympic symbol, sparks flew and it sort of made fireworks.
The March of the Nations took so long that I didn't finish it. Every time a team had gone around the stadium they had to put their flag one a hill with the other flags. Greece always went first because they made the Olympics. And after that it went on in alphabetical order. North Korea went in the D's section because they had another name called Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Later there was some thing called Individual athletes because three teams weren't tested clean.The last team was always the host of the Olympics. The Olympics were held at London, so team Great Britain went last.
The fireworks were the last part of the opening ceremony.Some were on the edge making a bunch of white X's. Some others were on the edge of the stadium too, but those fireworks formed white stairs and sprouts. And there were a bunch of red,yellow green and blue fireworks shooting down from the sky on top of the London Bridge. Also somebody set red fireworks around a tower and it was swirling around it. Fireworks were rampaging the sky, and it looked so bright.
The Olympic games opening ceremony was pretty good, but I still think China's Olympic games opening ceremony was better. So cheer on the USA, and hope they win!!!!

Floods would be common in your town if,you near by the water. If you don't like floods you should move to a place that isn't near water because you will have smaller chance of having a flood. Heavy rain causes floods. Flash floods can damage your house badly because if you live on a hill, rushing water can flood your house . To be prepared for floods you should move your family and some stuff to high grounds.
Whoosh! What's that? A Tornado! Tornadoes are violently rotating winds which can also be called twisters. There are many kinds of tornadoes ,such as fire whirls and waterspouts .Also each tornado is rated by the Fujita scale ( see twisters to observe the Fujita scale). A tornado can tear down your house. The most common place to have is Tornado alley. Tornado alley is located in the middle of the USA. To be safe for a tornado go to your basement, wear helmets and brace yourself.

On the other hand, a ground blizzard has no snow falling, but snowdrifts instead. When blizzards melt they can become mud slides or a flood. The deadliest blizzard in the world was the 1972 Iran blizzard , which killed more than 4,000 people. To be ready for a blizzard, you should wear a lot of jackets, sweaters or coats to stay warm.

Pokemon
"Pikachu uses Thundershock! Nidoran dodges it!" What's that? That's the sound of Pokemon fighting. What is Pokemon? Pokemon are fictional creatures who resemble animals.They have different types, who can evolve with various abilities.
Pokemon can belong to one or two types. It is very common for two different species of Pokemon to have the same type. Pokemon can make more damage by choosing an effective type against the enemy's Pokemon. For example, if your enemy has a grass type, the best type chosen to beat him is a fire type. Pokemon have 17 types in total, categorized in the three basic types, fire,water and grass.
Pokemon can evolve into a different
specie by reaching a certain level, given a certain item, being traded, or given a certain item to hold while being traded. The maximum times a Pokemon can evolve is twice for his whole life. Some Pokemon evolves once and a few others don't evolve at all (like legendaries, for example). There are many people who don't want their Pokemon to evolve because of their cuteness. The Pokemon Eevee is especially made to evolve because it can evolve into seven different forms. When a Pokemon evolves, it would be stronger than it's previous stage.
To some Pokemon, their abilities are very important or useful. To the other Pokemon, their abilities aren't important or useful. A useful type of ability is "Flash Fire." It can withstand any move in fire type that the enemy uses. Similar skills are "Volt Absorb" and "Water Absorb". A few Pokemon have two abilities so they can be stronger. For example,the Pokemon Houndoom has the skills "Flash Fire" and "Early Bird."

Going to the National Zoo
What's the coolest thing to do on the hottest day of the year? Go to the National Zoo!
My favorite things at the Zoo were the reptile house, the invertebrate exhibit and watching the gorillas getting feed. Going to the zoo was the greatest and coolest experience in a summer hot day, don't you agree?
When my cousin,uncle,sister,grandpa and I got to the zoo, we found out that most of the animals were sleeping. So I asked my uncle if we could go to the reptile house and he said yes. Therefore I sprinted toward the reptile house. When we got in, a gust of cold air blasted into my face. What a relief! I was overjoyed because outside of the reptile house it was about a hundred degrees Fahrenheit. Desperately I needed air conditioning. The first thing I saw was the chameleons, which were brown and easy to spot. Next I went to see the green anaconda. In the green anaconda cage, there were two things. One was a snake, the other one was a piece of skin. At first I thought the skin was the snake so I stared at it, then I realized that the skin wasn't moving. Thus I assumed that the other thing in the cage was the snake. I kept on walking until I reached the end of the house. Something that caught my eye was a trio of large turtles. In addition, I saw lizards and even frogs for some reason. After we all finished the house, my cousin asked to go to the invertebrate exhibit. So we went there.
When we got to the invertebrate exhibit, it had air conditioning too. The room was a little dark so it was hard to see small or black animals. I got addicted to the jellyfishes. The person who took care of the jellyfishes told me these kind of jellyfishes are called comb jellyfishes and they don't sting. If you feed them, they keep on swimming. Then I went to see the leaf cutter ants. Since they were small and black, they were extremely hard to see. Then I went out the door and saw a little garden with honeybees and butterflies. Now we were going back to the entrance of the zoo.
On the way to the entrance we were attracted to the scene of gorillas feeding. The man feeding the gorillas was throwing a bar in cylinder shape . At first I thought it was a kind of fruit. After I asked what he was throwing, and he said it was a bunch of frozen fruit juices mixed together. The gorillas were so smart that when every time the man called out a name, the gorilla with that name got a bar.

When My Cousin Came To My House (6/24/12-7/8/12
Imagine you are a boy who is waiting for your cousin to come and she is on the steps of your porch getting ready to come in, would you be excited? Well, when that happened to me I was very excited.
When she came and played with me, we accomplished getting a free book at Barnes&Nobles store, shared a bunch of jokes and riddles and played at the pool. So now let me tell you how we got a free book at Barnes&Nobles.

First when we got there I read a few Pokemon comics, then my cousin introduced me to the Rangers Apprentice. Also she bought me Genius Files: Mission Unstoppable. After that my cousin found a worksheet that said, if you completed the worksheet you could get a free book. So we worked on the worksheet for minutes, and f finally I finished the worksheet and got the book Phantom Tollbooth to keep.When my cousin and I finished shopping at Barnes&Nobles we got in the car and told each other jokes and riddles.Now let me tell you some riddles.
So ether if were in the car or going to sleep, my cousin and I share jokes and riddles. So first let me tell you a joke. My Swim Meet Against Hadley Farm's Great White Sharks
Would you like to be a 9 year old kid swimming most of the events you could participate in? Well that's what I had to do at my swim meet against Hadley Farm's Great White Sharks. I swam Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke. My first event was Freestyle so I would use a lot of energy to swim.
Freestyle is a fast stroke and I could get a better rank than other strokes because I practice it more than other strokes. Before I swam someone got disqualified for a false start. As I got ready, when the buzzer went off I sprinted as fast as I could and when I reached the wall my mom told me I was second because my last breath took to long. Also once all my other events were finished I had to swim Freestyle relay. I was the second person in the relay and the person who started before me was a bit slow so I used all my might and beat a person in relay. Now I will have to get ready for Backstroke.
As I got in the water I was a little cold, but when the race started I sprinted with a lot of power and when I touched the wall my mom told me I was in fourth place.Then I went to dry off and my mom told me at least I didn't bump into the lane dividers and I swam straight. I still had to do Breaststroke so I couldn't leave.
When the announcer said go I dived into the water with a great start and used a bunch of energy to reach to finish and when I finished my mom told me I was third to finish. I'm not as fast as before because I don't practice it a lot.
When all of the events were finished, the meet official announced that my swim team won the meet. If you forgot what I swam, it was Freestyle, Backstroke and

Muhammad Ali
"I AM THE GREATEST!" Those were the famous words of Muhammad Ali. Muhammad had a poor childhood, a hard adulthood and became an amazing boxer. Muhammad Ali was a very strong boy, as he grew so did his strength and speed.
Muhammad Ali was a strong and active child. Muhammad was born on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. When he was born his name was Cassius Clay. Also he was born in the time when black and white people were separated. His family was not terribly poor when he was born. He started boxing at the age 12 in a amateur boxing place. Cassius was good at boxing so he won a lot of tournaments. Muhammad Ali grew older and started to box in public.
Cassius was strong and won a lot of tournaments so a lot of people started challenging him. The famous baseball player Jackie Robinson was an example for him to play in public.As he got better he couldn't keep on avoiding punches, he had to learn how to take hits.Cassius liked to rhyme and these his challengers. When Martin Luther King Jr. made the country slave free, Cassius joined the nation of Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. Muhammad was married 3 times an divorced 2 times. Muhammad lost to Sony Liston and Joe Frazier but won both rematches. Also he is a CHAMPION!

A lot of countries recognize the name Ali because he boxed in a lot of places. He won a lot of tournaments and won golden gloves too. 2 Parties in 1 Weekend!
On 5/19/12 It was my sister's birthday party.We invited a bunch of friends named :Richard, Myles and more people. At first we were going to play things like pin the tail on the donkey,and make your own picture frame but we just left it to my sister. So first me and my friends went into the basement and played hit ball. Hit ball is a game that I made up where you have 2 balls, 1 for each team. Both teams have to work together and try to steal the others team's ball by throwing the ball to hit the other team. The team who protects both balls first wins. Then Richard and I beat Andrew and Myles by sprinting to my sister's room and locking the door. After that we played Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games and ate barbecue, shrimp and more delicious food.Then we went outside to play basket ball.Also Richard had to leave when we were finished playing.So Miles, Andrew and I wanted to go to the park. But first we had to sing "Happy Birthday" to my sister and eat cake.After that we went to the park and played tag with no adult watching! After we got tired playing tag we went inside and play Sonic Riders Zero Gravity. While Myles and I played everyone left except his family. When it was time to say bye our house was messier than ever. But since I was tired I went up stairs and went to sleep. THE END (Of party 1)

At first when we got there Myles was playing with a bunch of other kids,so I went inside and played with Legos. Then Myles and some other friends came in so we played Police. This is how you play police: there are some cops and some criminals, the criminals try to escape from jail and the police try to drag them back to jail.Also the police can make and train criminals into police.After that we went to eat. It was a awesome lunch, we got pizza,Fanta and more!When a bunch of people left I was allowed to play in the pool. So Myles's friends and I were in the pool playing and splashing the girls, Myles also made videos with his mom's waterproof camera of the girls getting splashed. We play until I had to leave, also he gave away 2 goodie bags per person. In the goodie bags were Skittles, spicy seaweed, wasabi peas and a Rubik cube or a game. It was an awesome party!

My Writing Class
Every Monday (Unless changed) I have a writing class at my Chinese school 7:00-8:30 . Last time I learned about hooks,thesis and transition sentences. The hook is a sentence that catches a reader's eye so the reader will want to keep on reading. Here are some I learned that you can try... Imagine... You are a famous rock star and was the most richest person in the world OR Would you like to be the most richest rock star? OR "EVERYBODY GET A CAR" Those were the famous words of Oprah Winfrey. Right after the hook is the thesis. The thesis is a sentence that tells what your paragraph is going to be about. Example: He had a poor childhood, a rich adulthood and then he just got famous! After the thesis there is a transition sentence. It makes the paragraph smooth so the reader is on the right track and is going to know what the next paragraph is about. That is all I learned at class so next time I will tell more!

My Dad's Company's Annual Picnic (5/6/12)
Today my dad,sister,grandpa and I went to Smokey Glen Farms to go to my dad's company's annual picnic.
At first when we arrived we were a bit early so we went to the arts and crafts table. There were so many things to choose from, so I picked a picture frame to make. You were given a foam picture frame and some stickers to start with. All you had to do was to take the stickers and put it on the the picture frame for decoration. Then I found this other activity were you can make key chains, bracelets and necklaces. I made 2 key chains the original one was where you put beads on a plastic string and tie it then you are finished. I made a doll one too,you had to get a head bead and make pipe cleaner arms as well as pipe cleaner legs. And I made a necklace (it was the easiest one) all you had to do was put bead on a chain and tie it. Another activity was putting colorful sand in things. I made 2 pens and 1 bracelet. All you had to do for both of them is take a funnel connect it to the thing you want to put sand in.
When we were done doing crafts we went to eat. At first the meal wasn't ready we just ate chips ,cotton candy or popcorn. When the meal was ready we ate hot dogs, salad, chicken and more. After the main meal was over we ate cookies and ice cream for desert.
After that my dad and I went to play with the games. We started to play mini golf which took me a long time to beat. And we went to play with the horseshoes where you tried to throw on the pole. At the end I won.
That was a fantastic day I will never forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Gifted Talent Test
In Jan. I had a Gifted Talent test. It is also called the magnet test. You have to sign up to be in it. My friend Hunter Burgstrom took the test and went to a smarter. I only want to go there because my friends are going there too.Also my mom wants me to pass the test so she can drive me to my original school then a school bus drives us to Clearspring elementary in Damascus! I hope I pass because they have a lot of field trips there, but there is a lot of homework! I hope I passed.:]

Whistle Vol.1
There was a boy named Sho who switched schools because at his old school he couldn't make the soccer team at his old school. At the new school people thought that he was a very good soccer player. But then everyone found out the truth that he wasn't good at soccer because at his old school he couldn't practice, but he was insanely good at knee lifting. So day after day he practiced alone, he got a little bit better at playing soccer. Then the best player on the team Tatsuya, argued with the captain that he should be the captain because the original captain is very lousy. So the captain and Tatsuya made a promise that in one week they would have a mini game and whose team won is the captain of the whole team. So in the following week Sho, Masato , Yoshihiko and Hideomi were practicing very hard because they were subs and subs are suckish. They used 2 on 2 for practice. Then the big day was here. Also known as the game. Sho had no problem with the first round. but the they had lost the second round because the other team knew their plan. Finally the subs won the last round. Everybody was happy when the subs scored the last goal.

My Christmas (2011)
On Christmas day, my cousin Fiona and I are super excited to see our new presents.It is different from last year because I get more presents and there are more family together.
I expected presents under Christmas tree and snacks in the stocking. On the prior night, we prepared snacks like Rice Krispies and Oreos for Santa. We put snacks into the stocking because it is a Christmas tradition. And today my cousin, my sister and I get popcorn, juice and Gushers back.
My presents are a Lego Coast Guard set and a Ben 10 DS video game. The Lego set comes with a big rescue ship and a tall coast guard tower. It also has a shark, a health room, a diver set and many more features. We work on it for hours until we finish it. My cousin gets a pair of beautiful pink boots and a Shrek DS video game.
I also get a new white bike since my old one was stolen. I am very excited since the new bike is pretty fancy because it has lots of gear. I get to ride it first. It is a little big than I expected. At first, I has some difficulties riding it. But finally I can ride it perfectly.
Then we go out to play. We race with the new bike and my razor scooter. My cousin has the scooter while I has the bike. Then we switch every turn. We have a lot of fun. Whoever has the bike is the one who wins. After that, we play basketball with my dad.
Then we play with my family's new badminton set. My uncle bought it yesterday while we were at Barnes and Noble. On the way to BN, we played with my aunt's phone and we also played the ABC game. You have to say a word and the last letter of your word is the first letter of the other person's word. We bought some Pokemon books and tried to compare and contrast our books which was an early gift. Also she gave me a $25 gift card to use which was another gift. We weren't playing with the net for badminton because I wasn't very good. Then we went to play ping pong and I beat her. This was the score 8-11.
At dinner we ate a big feast. But I didn't think it was that important since my cousin and uncle were here. What a fantastic and happy day!
