Cruise to Alaska Day 4

Have you ever been to the capital of Alaska? Well you should go there and explore what the last frontier’s capital offers. In the city of Juneau you can go ride buses or tramways to go to glaciers. My cruise line gave my family a bus to ride on so we could go to downtown Juneau.
When my family got to downtown my mom bought us a shuttle bus ride to Mendenhall Glacier National Park. There were many things to do but we couldn’t go in to the visitor center because we had to pay an admission fee to get in. So other than that we started walking on a trail called the Nugget Falls Trail. This trail was an intermediate trail and was around 2 miles for a round trip.
I was ahead of my family by far most of the times so I had to sit down a lot to wait for them to catch up. Soon I reached the end of the trail and what I found was amazing! I walked on to a beach and saw a giant waterfall. The waterfall was so large I got wet even at 20 feet away from the water. Also in the background I saw a giant glacier. I took many pictures of my family with the background and then we left.
Soon my sister was hungry so we had to get back on the boat and eat. During the afternoon I listened to some violin music in the lobby of my cruise. After that I just watched some TV for the rest of the afternoon. When it was time for dinner I ate a spring roll with chili sauce and some lamb.
Finally it was night time and I got to go to the Stardust Theater to watch a show. This show was about love. Everybody was breaking up and coming back together. They called this true love but I didn’t like it. I was disappointed by the topic they chose and ended up not really getting the show.

By the end of the day I had discovered Alaska’s capital and what it had to offer.
