Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 or as most people call it, TF2 is the 2nd best selling free to play game in the Steam store.  There are many aspects of the game that make it feel like you are playing a game you actually paid for instead of it being a free to play game. It is a first person shooter which means you will be playing whichever character you chose in first person mode (or looking through their eyes when playing). There are two teams, Red and Blu that compete to finish what ever goal first. In this game you can choose one of the 9 classes available to play as. Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper or Spy. Each of these classes look different, act different and have a different purpose in the game.

The Scout is one out of the three classes classified as an offense unit along side the Soldier and the Pyro. The scout is a fast moving, low-health class who's main purpose is to do things quickly and accomplish the goal as fast as he can. The Soldier however is a army soldier with a rocket launcher who is slow and has average health. He can shoot rockets which as explosive and deal large amounts of damage to the other team and destroy the other team's buildings made by Engineers. Lastly, the Pyro is a hazmat with a flame thrower who moves relatively quick and has a decent amount of health. He can set things on fire and push people back with his flame thrower. This class really can have any main goal but it is better off killing the other team.

The classes classified as defense are the Demoman, the Heavy and the Engineer. The Demoman is a Scottish man who likes to fiddle around with grenades and bombs. So in result he has a grenade launcher that shoot grenades that explode on direct impact or explode after X amount of time depending on the situation. The Heavy is a tank like guy from the Soviet Union with a large minigun that he wields. He deals massive amount of damage a but has slow movement speed. The Engineer however is a man who likes to build buildings such as sentries to keep the other team from attacking or teleporters to help the team get from one place to the next.

The final three classes are classified as the support classes. They consist of the Medic, Sniper and the Spy. The Medic is a guy who has a medi-gun which can heal teammates if they are close enough. He is not battle oriented but can still do some damage with his dart "machine gun". The Sniper has a sniper riffle and usually stays behind his allies to headshot the other classes so the other people on his team can move forward with what they are doing. Finally the Spy is a guy who can turn invisible, disguise as the other team and backstab people which kill them in one shot. He is most commonly used behind the enemy lines to get all the backstabs he needs.

The different game modes in TF2 consist of Payload, Payload Race, CTF, Control Points, Attack and Defend and Special Delivery. Payload is when one team tries to move a bomb in a cart to the other team's base to explode it while the other team is trying to defend against the bomb until the time runs out. Payload Race is when both teams have a bomb an they are racing to move the bomb into the other team's base. CTF is when there are flags on each side of the map and you have to steal the other team's flag and bring it back as your own. Control Points is when there are points on the map you have to capture and your goal is to capture all of them. Attack and Defend however is when one team tries to capture all the points while the other teams tries to defend against that team. At last, Special Delivery is when there is one flag which both teams compete for to bring onto the rocket and capture it.

Overall TF2 s a great game and has many cosmetic items which are part's of it's major source of income and a way to see different cosmetics to differentiate against other people.
